Yes, the two bottom base bars may need to be removed.

Strictly speaking, no. But having two or four outriggers will give a bigger footprint and make the tower feel more secure. In addition, the outriggers can give extra adjustments to uneven ground. Especially in garden use.

The extension pack has almost as much material as a tower. The pack includes an extra platform, 4 telescopic outriggers and the corresponding extension frames, horizontal braces, and diagonal braces.

The platform only requires 2 points of contact, one at each end, for a solid connection to the tower. They are required to hold the platform in position and avoid external forces from lifting the platform free.

Superb quality, delivery and support. This is an extremely well made structure with a very well thought out design, erected in a few minutes, extremely safe and stable with little or no movement. Very easy to move and dismantle. It’s safety installs confidence when working at height . Priced to compete in the marketplace yet seriously outperforms it’s rivals in every aspect.
Highly recommend buy with absolute confidence

Perfect and lightweight for DIY use. Very fast delivery

Order process easy and straightforward. Delivered within 24Hrs. Illustrative instructions OK (for an engineer) but none issued for stabilisers’ fitting. Structure stable once erected.

We’re really chuffed with our scaffold tower. It’s excellent value and perfect for our needs. The service was brilliant, thank you
Edmund B. (verified owner) –
Really pleased, very sturdy with the 2 extra outriggers

Excellent when assembled. Extraordinarily light for something that appears so big and feels very stable even without the outriggers – far better than being up a ladder.
Assembly is very straightforward, but I recommend checking the ends of the struts before starting to ensure they are straight: discovering that one (or more) isn’t and the screw that went easily into one side of an upright but won’t go all the way through and then won’t come out is annoying, but trying to release it whilst hanging onto one of the uprights or seated on the platform 3m above ground isn’t fun.
If you are on the short side (I am 5ft 6in) getting the platform in place at the right height is tricky and the easiest approach is to use a small step-up or sturdy box to get the necessary extra height.
