Yes you can; by releasing the bolt and wing nuts. Warning: It is dangerous to use the DIY tower without the base bars unless you tie the tower to something rigid or use outriggers.

Only if your existing tower is from our DIY tower range. You cannot mix brands from different manufacturers.

Yes, the two bottom base bars may need to be removed.

Strictly speaking, no. But having two or four outriggers will give a bigger footprint and make the tower feel more secure. In addition, the outriggers can give extra adjustments to uneven ground. Especially in garden use.

Yes, you can buy a 2m extension pack. Please see eDIY Tower Accessories for the extension pack.

The extension pack has almost as much material as a tower. The pack includes an extra platform, 4 telescopic outriggers and the corresponding extension frames, horizontal braces, and diagonal braces.

The platform only requires 2 points of contact, one at each end, for a solid connection to the tower. They are required to hold the platform in position and avoid external forces from lifting the platform free.

Assembly is a breeze with this product—no tools required! Made from lightweight yet strong aluminum, it’s much safer than working from a ladder.

Delivered promptly and is as described. My only negative comment is about the lack of detailed assembly instructions and the fact that the diagram in the packaging was printed on an inkjet printer. Given that the product was delivered on a very wet day, the pictures were next to useless.
I downloaded a sheet from the website which was for a similar but slightly different product – it was difficult to determine the correct positioning of the braces. Overall, using the tower on a flat paved area, it was reasonably stable but would be much better if anchored. Trying to access the platform using a stepladder through the lifting hatch was not easy as the tower slid on the ground. Reduced the height of the platform to about 3m and was a bit more successful.

Hello Ian,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
Just sent you a downloadable copy of the product poster for your reference and information. Please see below link for the towers technical diagram and component list and link to the demonstration video also:

To note, these towers come fully equipped with ladder frames and it is strongly recommended not to use any additional access equipment to build the tower for your safety.

Hello Paula,
Thank you for your review and yes, checked the tracking information and can see that your delivery was signed for as “lai” which stands for “Left As Instructed”. This was done by the driver as our default delivery instructions with our courier, if no one is in, is for them to leave in a safe location if there is somewhere safe to do so. They also take a photo of where the goods were left for insurance purposes which I can see that the driver did as it is showing on the tracking information. I’ve contacted our courier and they have informed that the driver did try to contact you on the mobile number provided but was unable to get through for some reason hence defaulting to leaving safe and signing their electronic scanner as “lai”. Hope this helps and if we can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to get in touch.

The scaffold is good value for money and fits the bill for work around the house. Don’t skimp though, buy at least 2 stabilisers, as the tower is a bit unstable when working at height.
