Can I build a tower higher than 7m (working height)? (Domestic towers)

Yes, our eDIY and MDIY towers can reach a maximum working height of 7.15m (23’5”) and our SUPER DIY has a maximum working height of 9.35m (30’9”). For anything taller please see our Trade King and Loyal Industrial towers.

What is the difference between working height, tower height and platform height?

Working height is generally calculated as the platform height plus 2 metres, representing the reach of a person standing on the platform. Tower height is the physical height of the structure itself.

Can I fit a domestic tower in a car?

Most domestic scaffold towers are designed for easy transport. The components typically fit comfortably into a standard hatchback with the rear seats folded down.

How do I offset frames for use on a slope? (Domestic towers)

To use a tower on a slope, you should choose a model compatible with adjustable base plates or legs. These allow you to level the tower safely on uneven ground by adjusting the height of each corner independently.

Can I use the scaffold tower outside?

Yes, but you must strictly avoid using towers in windy conditions. Always ensure outriggers/stabilizers are deployed as per the instruction manual for maximum stability.
