The MDIY Scaffold Tower with Toeboard range delivers excellent safety at an entry-level price point for domestic users. Manufactured in an ISO 9001-certified factory using British Design principles, these lightweight yet exceptionally durable DIY towers feature welded frames that are up to 33% stronger than common cold-pressed alternatives.
Designed for quick, tool-free assembly, the MDIY range is ideal for homeowners who require a safe, reliable and affordable access solution for occasional DIY and home maintenance tasks. Our unique serrated-tooth platform hooks lock to ladder rungs in seconds—eliminating the slipping risks and lengthy installation times associated with traditional J-bolts.
Equipped with 4 premium stiffener bars, testing shows the MDIY 5 tower achieves up to 87.5% more rigidity compared to the standard model, ensuring significantly less deflection than competitor towers using conventional outriggers (see our MDIY Tower Deflection Comparison for details). Rigorous deflection testing also proves the tower is 350% more rigid when using our telescopic outriggers compared to conventional outriggers, offering 44% higher resistance to tipping over. Each tower is equipped with height-adjustable, locking castor wheels (up to 260mm height adjustment) for uneven ground and easy mobility. Features an integrated toeboard to prevent falling tools or materials and additional guard rails at the intermediate platform levels for improved safety.
